    I tried this when it first came out and preferred the Next bacon strips to be honest; however, there was a batch on sale at Coles recently for $3.50 a packet so I bought a bunch and thought I'd give them another go. So glad I did as they have definitely improved the product since it's launch. Super tasty, and cheaper than the other veggie bacon on the market too.

    This is the best vegan bacon available from supermarkets that I've ever had - I love how you can cook it crispy or softer, according to taste, and it works not just as bacon rashers but in cooking or salads as well. It's very tasty and it's very competitively priced; the only criticism is that it can be a bit tricky to separate the individual rashers and straighten them out before cooking, as they seem to have been a bit randomly mushed together when packed. But that's only a minor quibble - this bacon is worth it!

    I would buy this again if there was a version without the liquid hickory smoke. Seems to me to be a very unnecessary addition that panders to American tastes. I would give it a four otherwise, especially as the ingredients look pretty healthy.
