And they are coated with lavender oil, the calming essential oil. Together this combination leads you to fall into a luxurious sleep. As soon as you put a patch on, the bioactive molecules start passing from the patch, through your skin and into the capillaries below and quickly travel around your body to where they work best.

Instructions

Tear the packet open and peel off one patch and apply to hair-free, clean and dry skin, on your upper body so you can inhale the relaxing lavender oil aroma 1-2 hours before bedtime. Keep patches within the packet and in a draw to keep the lavender sent as fresh as possible. Remove upon awakening. Can apply more then one patch if sleeping remains challenging for you or apply the patch earlier in the evening

Melatonin
Melatonin has the ability to reduce sleep onset time and increase sleep duration. Melatonin is a naturally occurring hormone that plays of a role in initiating and maintaining sleep and control of our 24-hour rhythms.

Melatonin is naturally occurring, produced and secreted by the pineal gland and acts in the hypothalamus. The pineal gland is stimulated to release melatonin by the evening hours and a dark environment.

GABA
GABA is a neurotransmitter found in mammals and plants, and acts to calm our central nervous system. Research suggest that GABA maybe effective as a natural treatment for depression, anxiety, insomnia, and addiction.

5-HTP
5-HTP may have a positive effect on sleep, mood, anxiety, appetite, and pain sensation. 5-HTP is the precursor to the relaxing hormone serotonin. When taken with GABA, 5-HTP might help people fall asleep faster, decrease sleep latency, increase duration of sleep, and improve the quality of sleep.

Valerian
Valerian is a perennial flowering plant native to Europe and Asia Its root may have sedative and anxiolytic effects, and is commonly sold in dietary supplement capsules to promote sleep. Research suggests that valerian makes GABA more effective as a calming agent.

Lavender essential oil
Lavender oil is an essential oil derived from the lavender plant.  Among all essential oils, few have been studied as much as lavender.
