Transdermal Vitamin B12 Patches
Each packet of Vitamin B12 patches each containing 8 patches containing activated vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin, which has a wide range of health benefits for your body. As soon as you put a patch on, vitamin B12 will start passing from the patch, through your skin and into the capillaries below the skin.
Differences you may notice
increased energy
improved memory, focus and decision making
improved sleep
protection from mosquito bites and the itchiness that comes with them.
reduced vertigo sensations
A significant difference between these vitamin B12 transdermal patches and regular B12 vitamins taken orally, is that they contain methylcobalamin for vitamin B12 compared to synthetic vitamin B12 called cyanocobalamin. Active vitamin B12 is ready to be used by your body as soon as they enter your blood stream.
Cyanocobalamin requires pre-conversion in the liver to the active form, that takes a long time and sometimes never happens.
We recommend using 2 patches/week but every person is different and responds differently to vitamin B12, so some may only need it once per week and others every day. Each packet contains 8 small brown patches that are 2 cm in diameter and use a hypoallergenic adhesive and is waterproof.
Suggested Use
Tear along the indents at the top and open the ziplock bag. Pull out the strip of 8 patches. Remove a patch when ready and place it somewhere where there is no hair and where your child cannot reach it! Keep it on for 48 hours and use at least every 3-4 days.
To take them off the backing paper, bend the sheet containing the patches and flick a patch off with your thumb. This way you will avoid taking the backing paper off.
Sometimes when you take them off there is a red circle on your skin, this is just the remaining vitamin B12 that has not passed through your skin yet - the vitamin B12 used in these patches is called methylcobalamin and is a deep red color!
Place the remaining patches back into the ziplock bag and seal so that the no air or moisture comes into contact with them.
