Made with savoury yeast flakes (nutritional yeast), these healthy dog treats are an excellent source of protein and B vitamins. And scrumptious too – a favourite amongst all the taste-testers! Nutritional yeast contains folic acid and essential fatty acids and is often added to pet foods to help dogs and cats maintain shiny coats and overall good health. It is also often used to deter fleas, as the taste of yeast in the bloodstream renders it unpalatable to them. The taste of it in treats however, is highly appealing to dogs and cats as well as being incredibly nutritious.
