    Garden of Vegan have solved all the problems that regular ready-meals have. Their meals are actually really flavoursome (no need to add extra salt), very filling (I chose the 450g versions for dinner), and they’re organic and preservative free which is just how I like to cook at home. They’re made fresh and taste like a proper home-cooked meal made with love, rather than something mass-produced. I was really impressed with all the different flavours and sauces.

    I got the butter tofu, sesame noodles, mac and cheese and rose rotini. I would say the butter tofu and mac and cheese were my favourites as I tend to favour comfort food. I really loved the coriander sauce with the sesame noodles, but would’ve loved to see some tofu with that one.

    The only thing I didn’t love were the desserts but that’s just personal preference. I find raw desserts full of nuts and dates just a bit too rich. Maybe some healthy cookies or even some cheese and crackers would make a good additional snack?

    Garden of Vegan make it easy for me to receive organic, sugar and oil free meals. I try to avoid added sugar and oil and find so many other ready meals are loaded up with these ingredients. The order and delivery process is simple, I like the tracking link on when I should receive the delivery.

    I chose the 300g sized portions as I tend to eat smaller meals. There are options where you can buy 300g of pure protein like the Mung Bean Dahl or the Mexican Bean Protein Pack – these were big enough for two people with some extra rice and steamed veg on the side and really took the hassle out of cooking.

    I’m really happy with the taste of my meals, it’s a bonus that it only takes 3 minutes to reheat in the microwave. It is such a timesaver for me, so much healthier and quicker than getting food delivered.

    I ordered a couple of desserts and 7 different dishes so I had enough for dinners for the week. My favs so far have been the dahl, teriyaki tofu and the rice and beans.

    These ready made meals are great for those of us who don’t have time to cook healthy meals. I have an 8 week old baby and these meals have been a life saver. All you need to do is heat them up in the microwave. I ordered the 600g portions for my partner and I to share. The mac and cheese was my favourite – it was delicious and a healthy vegetable-based version of this comfort food. The butter tofu and rich rose rotini were also delicious and very creamy. The teriyaki tofu was pretty average because it contained 24g sugar per serve and tasted far too sweet. I wouldn’t recommend it. The amount of protein in the meals has been quite impressive. I think I would want to buy the 450g serves next time because 300g per person was a bit small for us because we exercise and have big appetites. I also really recommend the GoRaw desserts. We ordered the Choc Top and Go Nuts flavours – both very rich, creamy, and decadent. Overall my order was really enjoyable and a massive time-saver.

    I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Garden of Vegan! The meals were delivered ready to eat straight to my door. The meals were nutritious, delicious and healthy. They also keep for around a week so they last a while!

    I got the butter tofu, big vegan breakfast, mac and cheese, sesame noodles and chock hazelnut slices. My favourite was DEFINITELY the Mac and Cheese – it was so creamy and made with proper ingredients. The other meals were also great.

    If you are looking for some easy healthy meals during the week i would definitely recommend Garden of Vegan. It is not so feasible for me at a student but if you’re willing to spend and are time-scarce Garden of Vegan would be an excellent way to go!

    Really awesome new business that allows vegans to access nutritious, tasty meals delivered to their homes. There are a lot of meals to choose from so there is something for everybody. Some of the meals are big enough to split into two and have with a bit of salad or rice.
    My favourites were the enchilada pie and the mung bean daal, lots of great flavours and textures.
    They were a little pricey for me to get regularly but I enjoyed the opportunity to try them.
    Definitely recommend for time poor people looking for something that tastes like a home-cooked meal with real ingredients. I think non-vegans would like the meals too!
